We usually reply within 2–3 business days.
Telling us which device (iPhone or Apple Watch) you were using and what you were doing helps us find it much faster. If you can sign in, opening the mail from Profile > Contact inside the app is fastest — it fills in your app version and device details for you.
Common questions
I cannot sign in or sign up
If Sign in with Apple fails, first check that you are signed in under Settings > Apple Account on your device. If you signed up with an email address, the verification message often lands in spam — if it is not there either, email us the address you signed up with and we will check it on our side.
I am under 14 and waiting for a guardian to approve
Your guardian has to open the link in the consent email to finish the sign-up. If it did not arrive, check the spam folder in their inbox and tap resend in the app. Guardians can both give and withdraw consent from that email alone — no account needed.
My Apple Watch swims are not showing up
kuwakuwa reads swim workouts stored in the Health app (HealthKit). On your iPhone, check Settings > Privacy & Security > Health and make sure kuwakuwa has read access. If you turn permissions off and on again, you may need to delete and reinstall the app for the permission prompt to appear.
I want to cancel my subscription
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store. On your iPhone, go to Settings > your name at the top > Subscriptions and cancel kuwakuwa there. Deleting the app alone does not cancel it.
I want to delete my account
You can delete it yourself from Profile > Account > Delete Account inside the app. Deleting removes your records and profile, and cannot be undone.
I want to report a user or a post
Tap the more menu (⋯) on a post or profile to report it. You will see a confirmation right away, and a person reviews every report from there. If it is urgent, email us directly at the address below.
